Stainless Steel Totes | Handling Tips

Filling the Tote

  1. Make sure the valve handle is in the closed position, and the positive lock is engaged.
  2. Make sure the secondary seal is installed in the outlet end of the valve.
  3. Release the pressure by slowly opening the bung and allowing all pressure to be released from the tote.
  4. Once the pressure has been released, open the filling aperture. Do not remove the 2” fusible vent to use as a filling aperture.
  5. Fill the tote per your standard procedures. Be careful not to over fill.

Next step: Installing the tote's drum cover
