Our carbon steel IBC totes are comprised of carbon and iron. The large amount of carbon in these tanks makes them extremely durable and impact resistant. Compared to stainless steel totes, carbon steel is a lighter and less expensive option, however, carbon steel IBCs are not compatible with as many materials and are more susceptible to rust.
