Our intermediate bulk containers are available in the standard sizes listed on this page or in special sizes to fit customer requirements.
Our metal tanks are constructed of 304 series stainless steel or other alloys for storage and transportation of liquid materials. Tank corners have a 2" radius for strength and easy cleanability and one-piece bottom available with slope for complete drainage.
A variety of closures and valves are available for tanks; a 22" drum cover provides easy access for cleaning and inspection. Weld and material finish on tanks can be suited to meet customer needs.
Intermediate bulk containers may be tested and tagged per UN/DOT regulations for handling liquid materials. The tank is also available to meet various food grade requirements of the USDA and FDA.
Stainless Steel IBC Tote Tank Dimensions
The most common size for stainless steel IBCs is 350-gallon capacity. This capacity provides the most cost efficient use of material and easily double stacks in common over-the-road trailers. The standard 350-gallon tote tank dimension is 42" x 48" base with an overall height of 47". The stainless steel 350-gallon IBC has the same base dimensions as a pallet, but can hold more than SIX 55-gallon drums!
Another popular size for stainless steel IBCs is the 550-gallon capacity tote tank. The standard 550-gallon tote tank dimension is 42" x 48" base with and overall height of 71". These tote tanks have a tare weight of approx. 615 lbs. The stainless steel 550-gallon IBC has the same base dimension as a pallet, but can hold TEN 55-gallon drums!
