Transporting industrial chemicals in tote tanks is more efficient than using drums. The square design of the tote tanks results in less wasted space and more product moved with each shipment. A 550-gallon IBC takes up the same amount of space as four drums (one pallet), but has the same capacity as ten drums! IBCs are typically transported by truck, though totes are certified to also be moved by rail freight, air freight, and cargo vessels.
IBCs are ideal for storing liquids in large quantities. Our stainless steel IBCs are stackable, washable, reusable and can be shipped affordably. Totes, when stacked in storage, allow for over 1000 gallons of product to be stored in a single pallet space. Our polyethylene and polyethylene composite totes come in capacities of 275 & 330 gallons, and can store liquids with a specific gravity of up to 1.9. Our stainless steel totes come in standard sizes of 350 & 550 gallons, though we can custom build DOT/UN certified totes ranging in size anywhere from 119-gallons all the way up to 793-gallons.
